Horus, god of sky and sun, is beautifully depicted in silver and fine plique jour enamel with wings outspread and lotus flowers above. The sun on his headdress is represented by a vibrant pink garnet, and another sun glows brightly under foot. A single baroque pearl hangs below. Horus was one of the most significant deities from the ancient Egyptian pantheon of gods.
