Eakin Creek Wests edges begin to freeze forming unique textures and patterns as it meanders slowly across the prairie landscape at Wildflower Park
As the evening begins to come to a close on this late winter day

After an overnight snowfall and freezing rain grip this prairie landscape scene
AN AFTERNOON WALK ALONG THE CREEK WHITE CAMPION (SILENE LATIFOLIA) Eakin Creek Wests edges beginAfter receiving 2 3 inches of snow during the morning hours, I set out to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this Sunday afternoon. The temperature was in the mid 20's with a mild wind of 5 8 mph. It was mostly overcast with some sun breaks. The soft lighting during this time made for some nice images of the box elder trees and their reflections onto Eakin Creek West. (685 3440)
