Vino Budimir Riesling Margus Margi 2011 Size:750ml matured and bottled on IslayYet the very old wood (25 years and older) manages not to completely destroy the character of the grape, although the long time sitting there gently oxidizing certainly changes the feel of the wine. It has some old wood nuances on the finish, a rounder feel and far less purity. There is a little bit of what feels like some tannic pop too. The fine acidity nicely cuts through the wood, but you have to think about this before you say "Riesling."
