These vines were planted in 1946 facing south southwest. 2010 was a fantastic vintage for Commune Castiglione Falletto and especially this grand Barolo. Make no mistake; this is a big wine. Aromas of anise, mushrooms, leather, and wild berries give way to a carrier landing on the palate with big fruit, a dense velvety mouth feel, and a long finish. 2018 2032.
