The background is aqua sky blue turquoise. The weft and selvedges are black, adding more depth, and it has Meisen's traditional, desirable blur. Both sides are the same, and it's a true ikat, feather light, thin, rustic silk woven from various thicknesses of threads, so there are lots of slubs. This silk is a little crisp, not completely
